Consistency vs. Intensity: Why 'Tortoises' Always Win
March 30, 2024Productivity Guru

There are two ways to study 10 hours.
- 10 hours in one day (Intensity).
- 30 minutes a day for 20 days (Consistency).
Option 1 feels heroic. You feel like a warrior. But after 1 week, you will remember nothing.
The Sleep Sandwich
Your brain needs time to grow. Learning happens while you sleep, not while you study. Sleep is when your brain moves information from short-term RAM to long-term Hard Drive.
If you study for 10 hours, you only get 1 night of sleep to save that file. If you study for 20 days, you get 20 nights of sleep. That is 20 times more processing power.
The Non-Zero Day
Commit to a "Non-Zero Day". This means you do something every single day. Even if it's just 1 Duolingo lesson. Even if it's just listening to 1 song.
The Challenge: Do not miss a single day for 30 days. Even 5 minutes counts. Watch your level explode.
